FAQs
Everything families ask us before they commit — answered plainly. If yours is not here, just ask.
01What is a Bernedoodle like to live with?
Affectionate, people-focused and far calmer indoors than most people expect. They take the steady temperament of the Bernese Mountain Dog and the intelligence of the Poodle, which makes them easy to train and very keen to be involved in whatever you are doing. They do not like being left alone for long stretches.
02Do Bernedoodles shed?
Most shed very little, and the curlier the coat the less you will find on the sofa. No dog is truly hypoallergenic, but Bernedoodles are usually a good fit for households with mild allergies. All coat types need brushing a few times a week and a trim every couple of months.
03How big will my puppy get?
Minis usually finish around 25–45 lb, mediums around 45–65 lb and standards around 65–90 lb. We give you our honest expectation based on the parents — but adult size is never a promise any breeder can make.
04How much is a puppy, and what does that include?
Our puppies are $500, and that is the whole price — a vet check, age-appropriate vaccinations, worming, microchipping, a starter pack of food and a blanket from the litter are all included. No booking fees and no extras at the end.
05How do I order one?
Open the puppy you like and press Place your order. You fill in your details, choose how you would like to pay, and that puppy comes off the list straight away. We send written confirmation with the puppy, the price and the go-home date, plus the payment details for the method you picked.
06Can I come and visit?
Yes, and we would love you to. Meeting a litter in person tells you more in ten minutes than a hundred photographs. Just arrange it with us first so the puppies are awake and we are not mid-feed.
07When can a puppy come home?
At eight weeks at the earliest. We will not release a puppy before it is ready, even if that moves the date by a few days — and we will always tell you as soon as we know.
08How can I pay?
Whichever way suits you — bank transfer, PayPal, one of the payment apps, or in person when you collect. You choose at the checkout and we send the details with your confirmation. Nothing is ever taken automatically.
09What if things go wrong later?
Come back to us. Whatever the reason, whatever year it is, we will take a dog back or help find the right home. No puppy of ours should ever end up in a shelter.
